well you can just assume your actions of sucker punching someone and get ready to fight some more because, obviously, you have 11 other players who are on your side who are ready to defend NBA's leading scorer...
Meanwhile you are surrounded by Knicks. Who cares though, he hit him, ok.

The number of games for suspensions weren't any surprise. Karl just went off on Thomas. What a fiasco.

After viewing the video, I have determined that Carmelo is clearly a bitch.

If I were Collins, I'd go looking for Carmelo.

My views are cowardice, lol, so be it. Only a dumbass is gonna hit then get taken advantage of. Plus most people move out the way when gettin rushed. I'd love to fight people who try not to be a coward and stay in place so they can get hit, but whatever it really doesn't matter. But yes to make you feel better I personally would hit someone and get some distance to do it again if need be.

So Isaiah mouths some shit like "It wouldnt be a good idea to go to the hole right now" or whatever he said, damn I love those Piston days. If the Knicks turn into even a shade of that Pistons team I will be in love. So funny how Larry Brown is getting tossed into this, with the whole Tarheel thing. Nugs starters shouldnt have been in for sure and I really dont like Karl, this just makes it worse.
No you'd probably hit someone and get some distance because you are scared you'll get punched.

Exactly, gettin hit is called losing, you try not to do that. It's jsut like a boxer stickin and movin, are they cowards? I mean come on he hit a dude and backed up, who cares. Shit just the fact he threw a punch says he got balls.

The fact that he threw a sucker punch and then backed up says he is a pussy. You automatic reaction is you'll get hit back from him,so you know revenge is coming,so what you do..you defend yourself by standing there and blocking his punch and or punching him again if needed.Like i said your views are so different from mine and i consider them cowardice. You all about winning and loosing like it was some sort of game. You do anything to not loose. You put rules and regulations and rights and wrongs before your own courage. But you'll probably never understand the wrong with that though.

So if you punch a man then you back up from him and start running as far as you can from him so he can't touch you, so than you could say to yourself that you beat him and you are a winner and hes a looser.

um...carmela threw the sucker punch and backed up about 94 feet. was that enough room for him? balls for throwing a punch? he's an idiot, dude was having an mvp like season and no matter what happened he didnt need to throw a sucker punch. the whole fight was calming down before he threw that punch. I was actually excited that melo would finally get positive recognition, make the allstar team and finally be recognized up there with james and wade but then he went and pulled this stunt.

And if you watch the replay, collins fell because of jeffries not melo's sucker punch.

I dont understand where Isaiah Thomas is coming from with this whole "they were up 20 points and still had their starters on" Why does that matter, your losing you want them to take out their best players so you can have a chance to come back? I dont understand that, and then to get heavy handed because of it is just bad sportsmanship. A player for our team in the NBL got a broken leg (bone sticking out of his leg n all) because of something like that foul, possibly injuring someone isnt justifiable because of that. The whole thing was pretty stupid and immature.

^^^^ In the states when you lead 20 pts two minutes till the end of the game, the coaches take out their best players for some unknown reason to me...

I mean there's still 2 minutes on the clock, fuck play!!!! :) (the argument of "do you want to injure your best players?" is not acceptable to European basketball fans for some reason...)

I find it weird how they fight tho... I mean they always do some weird shit... like when Van Gundy grabbed Alonzo, I think, by the leg... or when Peeler ELBOWED Garnett (Who elbows someone???).

The only "real" punch i saw was Childs on Kobe... which was classic (Or was it Ward...I doubt it was Ward tho..)

I used to utimately respect and liked Carmelo Anthony. But now I think he is a bitch. He goes and sucker punches Mardy Collins and runs off all the way back to the Nuggets bench. That's a pussy move. You don't run off after 1 or 2 punches then run off. Its exactly the same situation with the Kobe Vs. Chris Childs fight. Childs punches Kobe and runs off. I don't see any other guys running from a fight when there's a fight in the NBA. Carmelo Anthony and Chris Childs = Pussies of the NBA. Carmelo Anthony attended Syracuse University so I wonder how New York fans think about Melo now. I wonder if New York fans hate him now for sucker punching and running away from Mardy Collins.

LMAO Even Melo was running away from Nate Robinson after he sucker punched Mardy Collins.

Here's the video
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=261216018

funny shit.....he didn't "sucker punch" him because he squared up and let it fly....homeboy wasn't on the look out for that....that's his fault!!!! NOW when he ran away, THAT WAS A BITCH MOVE.......but as far as ny.....homeboy is from new york but i gots to say after being ROBBED a couple of times, WE ALREADY KNEW HE WAS A PUNK

lol it was a bitch made move, but maybe Carmelo realized how stupid what he did was, and didn't want his suspension gettin any bigger so decided to run like a bitch instead..

I know they do it I suppose to lower the risk of injuring their big players when the game is already won, and to let the young guys get a shot. But for the other coach to complain about them not doing that sounds childishly pathetic to me.

^It's what happens in the NBA. The complaint is acknowledged by the NBA world. It's the wrong thing to do. It's one of the unwritten rules in the NBA such as if there's 5 seconds left and you're up by 20 points, and you still shoot before the clock expires as opposed to letting the clock run out.
