Technology Apple

They have made strides since the days of the Excel. I remember we had a friend, when we lived in New York, that had an Excel. It was such a piece of shit, my dad would offer to drive places so we didn't have to cram four adults, a six year old me, and a baby into that god forsaken hatch. God damn, FUCK THAT CAR!

But now they're straight. I believe each and every model of theirs has won an award of some type, and the brand as a whole now has reliability reports as good as Honda and Toyota.

Nah. Hyundai is known for it's mechanical strength. As are all cars from Japan or Korea. But it is a cheap brand.

I try not to be a snob. But don't think I could be seen in one.

My cousin has a jag XF. Nice car.

I have a Macbook and fuck yeah it looks like a Macbook. GTFO with your blind hate for Apple. From the black edges on the screen to the black square keys on aluminum.

Looks a bit like a Macbook pro but not all that much. Actually I don't really like the design and MBP is quite stylish if that doesn't say that they don't look alike THAT much. There are similarities though.

It's a shitty knockoff. I should have added that. I think Masta might have thought that I was pissed at it. I was merely laughing at how shitty a job LG did with making it resemble its competitors. In this sense, Apple is a hipster. It has shit before it becomes cool. But not early enough that they have the technology, it dies, and then others "magically" have it. It's "Apple makes it, people laugh, people stop laughing, the public loves it, the competitors are a year behind but still blatantly copy it anyway." It warms my heart.

Patents speak louder than words. But I doubt Apple will "ban" LG from selling that clear knockoff like they did with Samsung and the 10.1. Steve Jobs is still asking Samsung, "how does my ass taste?"

You'd be blind too if Google's dick was that far down your throat. You know.. there's kind of a body there and whatnot. I'm no expert, but those are nosebleed seats to what's going on in the rest of industry if you ask me. Thus is the life of a fanboy.

No, why would I think that?
Do you know how LG laptops used to look like in the past? They always had the black bezel (or silver) around the screen and scratched aluminum unibody around the keyboard too.

This is a 2007/2008 P300 model:
It was one of the most awesome, slim and lightweight models at its time. With only 1,7kg it packed the fastest core 2 duo and an Nvidia 8600gt graphics card.
Does it mean that Apple stole LG's design? I don't jump to conclusions. Just like with the new LG model they are barely refreshing their own older designs. The round shapes were first introduced by Sony and Acer before Apple started using them. Perhaps LG were inspired by the MBP here and there with the new model but nevertheless I don't like the design and I admitted that the Macbook pro looks better.

But not early enough that they have the technology, it dies, and then others "magically" have it.
What technology? I guess it would be a safe bet that nobody (major) ever stole any technology invented by Apple.
Apple sues everyone for other devices resembling their devices.

Yes, that's true. Apple doesn't hold many significant ones. I would agree about them buying a few companies that had a few though. Not those that other companies are violating though.

Both the Ipad and the 10.1 looked just like any other tablet. They were only slimmer which is easily possible with mobile chips. You can say that the Ipad2 has copied Samsung which was the first company to introduce very slim mobile devices back in 2005 or so (less than 10mm thick phones).

I don't know at whom this was directed. I'm not really that much of a fan of Google but yes, they are doing awesome.

No, not you. I made sure to separate my post directed at you on the top, Apple in the middle, and fanboys at the end.

Apple does hold significant ones. It successfully blocked the sale of the 10.1 in Europe. Any more significant and they'd completely shut down the competition.
