I have a question, why is Lucas not rated by Liverpool fans, I don't know much about him just that hes a young player from Brazil. All the Liverpool fans I know hate to see him in the team, hes not that bad is he?

Btw its a joke that Anelka is the top scorer in the league, quite abit ahead too. Torres seems to be right, the Premiership defenders are easy :wondering:
*Looks at Derby's record last season*

Yup...

*Leaves room*

Its interesting that as soon as Makelele left Real Madrid, they went to shit and now he has left Chelsea and they seem to have gone to shit too. Mikel has done well in that position but not against the big teams. Its not his natural position either.

I remember a quote from Zinedine Zidane after Makelele was let leave Real Madrid and after they signed Beckham. It is similar to what you are saying there Flipmo.

"Why put another layer of gold paint on the Bentley when you are losing the entire engine?"

That is so true.
Yeah that qoute is great. Makalele basically got that role named after him lol. Brilliant at his job.

Yeah, and he's kicking ass for PSG now. Woooooo.

And Anelka is a good striker... He's the kind of guy that doesn't do much, doesn't say much but comes out of nowhere and scores a goal.

Stats are stats, if you score goals, you are a striker... If you score more than others, you are a good striker...

He plays for Chelsea, a team that the opposition always fears and he can score goals.

I think it's more of a joke that Ronaldo ended up scoring 40+ goals last season than the fact that Anelka is the #1 scorer in the league right now.

Then again, Ronaldo scored goals against the likes of Fulham, Derby, Bolton, Birmingham and was nowhere to be seen against Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal.

He scored in the Champions League final against Chelsea and in the league against Arsenal in both games. I'm not sure about Liverpool games.

Anelka *is* the type of guy who can go competely unnoticed for 80 minutes straight and then suddenly put one away.

Good striker imo. Maybe mentallly he can improve a bit, but that unseen-lurker thing is also a quality.

The ref didnt have a good game that day but Mascheranos stupidity made it an easy decision to send him off.
^^Mascherano acted the same way that Wayne Rooney acts in every game. The only differance is that he got sent off while Wayne Rooney is allowed to fuck the referee out of it and nothing happens him. Mascherano is only supposed to have asked Bennett as to why he was booked anyway.

united play wigan today, aiming to close the gap at the top.

like torres said, united are the favourites for the title.

i read somewhere today, think it was sky sports news (as a rumour) that fergie will quit along with ronaldo if united win all four major trophies this season.
