i do. but i don't believe that we are prisoners and have to follow EVERY rule that some religions put out.

Anyone who watchs debates or conversations with Dawkins, Hitchens and Harris regarding the topic of faith and religion and then finally does not come to the conclusion that the vast majority of what they are saying is simply true, then ive got to say that this person lacks intelligence!

To the people who believe in God, which religion and why? Were you born and raised into it? Does one make more sense than the other? Why don't you follow the others?

I dont believe in a god because of what all kinds of people told me, what ive heard, what ive seen and read and last but not least, because of what i understand.

Some people are somehow able to turn off their intelligence when it comes to certain things. Dont ask me how.

I agree, but I also think that there is a lot more to this world that we may never understand.

The main thing that pisses me off about religion is people

I believe in God, it's either you take a leap of faith or not. Simple as that. It feels right for me to believe in him.

I don't believe religion has all the answers, nor do I believe it should control every action in my life. I'm Catholic, and I do believe religion can be a very good thing, but for the most part, its interpreted by fucked up individuals that give it a bad name.

in congo, children, soldiers, are given viagra and cocaine to go out and rape and kill people. they have no goal with this, they just want to spread terror. some women have their breasts cut off with machetes so they can't feed their babies. a doctor recently won some prize for recreating some girls' anuses and vaginas because they had been raped so bad their groins were utterly messed. some women are raped and then shot in the groin with a rifle. others are raped and killed. even thought they are being raped against their will, it's considered a form of adultery, and they are outcasted for being dirty. half the female population has been raped. i doubt half the population committed sins against god that warranted this sort of punishment, so i have to assume he doesn't care. it's not an opinion, it's a very statistical fact. and i have just mentioned one out of many countries.

The list can go on, those numbers aren't opinions they're fact. If god cared he/she would come down and say "Guys, stop it." or "Here, I'll help."
