i got pretty badly burnt the other day and i am starting to peel a little bit..
is there anyway to stop peeling so i can stay brown?? i have put aftersun shit on and moisturising cream but i dont think it will stop it..

p.s this is a pretty boring thread so have you ever got really badly burnt to the point were it is painfull??

once it starts to peel its prolly a good idea to use moisturizors and stuff like that. Yeah I got sunburned plenty of times when I was in california and if I go fish here yeah I look horrible.

I work out in the sun so yeah I tend to have that brown look but I spend a good 5 hrs in the sun when it gets up to 120 here. So I use sun block because I don't want to be burned.

Go to the garden center and buy an Aloe Vera plant. Rip the "leaves" off and get the clear syrup from the inside and use that.

Alternately you can buy Aloe Vera cream, but make sure to get the 100% pure one.

It will stop you from peeling, stop it from hurting, and help you go brown.

I went down to a place called Normanville a few summers ago for a weekend. Was high 30's maybe 40. Didn't even think about sunscreen until maybe 3 in the afternoon after being on the beach, my friend said her back was stinging a lil.. Then we all looked and suddenly felt the horrible burn that stupid pointless sun causes. That was probably the worst burn I've ever had. The worst part is sleeping. Oh the pain of it all!!

I got to cancun, and I was already nicely tanned due to spending a lot of time in Spain...

My room wasn't ready and my case was locked away, but I went down to the beach... It was cloudy and didn't feel hot... But I was out for 6 hours and ended up with badly burned legs....


Meant I had to stay out the sun for 2 days....



I know a lot of you Americans have it colder... But it's -2 (celcius) here.... I am looking forward to some sun.
