When Rukas de-modded a bunch of mods and appointed new ones, i lost my powers, but were given them back later on as i was still an active member. i've inqueried sigh with this. i dunno about you mike but me and you don't stay in touch too much, i hardly ever see you online and i'm not that much on the computer anymore either. i can't ban people anymore. maybe us supermods aren't supposed to be able to ban anymore, but i only have moderator rights. once i enter the mod panel i can't do shit. can't even search for members, using either method to look up a user in the database.

anyway, i don't NEED the permissions to ban people, but the more responsibility i am given the more work i am able to do. the picture i'm trying to paint is that i don't really care but i was going to check a user and found i was unable to. if you'd rather handle banning and such yourself i don't have a problem with that :p

also, i would like to know what's gonna happen with the commission. alternatively, is there a place where us mods can discuss things that the board members don't necessarily need to be a part of? IM chats are no good since we're hardly ever online all of us at a time.

Right now, only 3 supermods can ban, sebby boy, chronic and myself.

And as for the other thing, being able to check users and stuff, I can't do that anymore either, I can search only if I wish to ban. I can't look at the members profiles and etc like I was able to when the new server/layout first went up.

I also don't have the ability to "physically remove" posts/threads and I was able up until like a month ago. I dunno if these are bugs or what's going on.

supermods should have the ability to remove threads but supermods shouldnt have the ability to go into accounts, thats my stance, i also dont think super mods should be able to ban.

Super mods in the past where set up in a way to moderate all forums and watch over mods themselves and report bannable issues to admins, now Rukas may have changed this but i do not know, as i stated all those rules i spoke of where from years ago but i still dont like the idea of supermods banning people, that should be discussed with an admin and the admin should be the one banning people.

That is why Rukas set it up so there are only a few "chosen" if u wanna say, ones that are allowed to ban, incase of spam/etc that admins aren't on to catch.

spam can be closed and u can delete or edit it out so it says nothing.

a simple pm can be sent to take care of the banning. besides im on daily from 4-6.

^I know, I'm not saying it's not simple or whatever, I'm just saying maybe that's why Rukas has it.
