See im from a "hick" state........ a lot of ppl like rap but an equal or maybe majority hate it..... so when we would all go out drinking i would hear alot of hank..... at first i hated it, but after i started hearing what he was saying it was cool..... im a Pac fanatic but i think Hank is country music's version of Tupac

a true Music fan can listen to all kinds of music. i dont mind a little country. Rap music is great but people need to explore their music options and listen to different genres of music.

Rap,RNB, Classic Rock.. (Because as a child thats what i had to listen to thru my parents). Jazz, Blues, Country. 2 kinds of music i'll pass on is Grunge Rock and Techno.

yeah i feel ya on the grunge and techno...... and ive voiced this on several other threads..... but damn this will be the last time i say it, i hate the rap with that south sound.... with the exception of a couple ti and luda tracks..... i love some scarface but i dont classify him in that sound or ugk

Obviously you're new here.... There's tons of people here who listen to everything.

A few people, like me, used to love rap music when they registered on this board, and after a while they started to listen to other stuff and still post here.

I still listen to rap music but not as much as I used to.

Now to Hank Williams Jr... Cash kills him. :) But he's good. He's the kind of country that I can listen to, because it kind of ressembles to blues a tad (the stories in the lyrics).

Did you shoot a man in Reno, just to watch him die?

Must-hear Johnny Cash songs;

Cocaine Blues, Folsom Prison Blues, Hurt (NIN cover), The Man Comes Around, I Walk The Line, Man in Black and, for the lighter side of Johnny Cash, A Boy Named Sue.

I also like his versions of Rusty Cage (Soundgarden), Personal Jesus (Depeche Mode) and God's Gonna Cut You Down:
