You guys going to be watching? I have been disinterested in the theatrics of any award show but I do pay attention to the winners, at least for TV and movies. I do not care for the Grammys. Music is one thing that has kind of faded from my life the last decade or so.
I like Conan, so I may pop in. I will watch Ricky Gervais if he ever hosts again.
I am interested in the controversial remarks made by the actor of that one movie that is trans. Shat on Muslims, George Floyd, etc. The director of her movie is already distancing himself from her but I wonder if someone will state make a statement indirectly addressing her remarks.
I heard the movie was not that good, but I also began seeing those comments after her Twitter comments were made public. Before that, all quiet on the war front.
Speaking of Twitter, I continue to use it as normal. I don't notice a change. I have a Bluesky account and tried migrating over my Twitter Follows there but it's a tedious process. I said it before, I think. I hope Twitter sticks around. I am cautiously optimistic that Elon doesn't fuck it up further. People keep saying it's a right wing bastion of hate but I stay to my "Following" tab on my timeline and I have not seen anything out of the ordinary. All my favorite accounts to follow still posting the same, sports-related stuff and no controversies. Unless it involves sports.

Honestly, I'm not sure those two attempts on Trump weren't staged. You'd think with the true panic and fear some people are expressing this past month, someone else would've taken a whack at it. I'm sure his security is beefed up a ton more compared to last...July? But I don't know that it doesn't happen to someone just beneath him.
I'm hoping the Eagles win, too. I'm one of the last people to get on the KC hate train and while I am OK with seeing a KC dynasty, or a dynasty of any sort in sports, Mahomes might've done it for me with his attempts to draw flags. I respect Andy Reid though. Kelce, I am indifferent. He's grown a lot from a decade ago when he was a real chode and looked and acted like a high school burnout.
