so my left eye is fucked up, and i have to get glasses, bought them today and i'll get them next week some time.

who else here wears glasses? and do people view you different?

Have you ever seen a hot girl without glasses and then with glasses? She seems to...."downgrade" on looks but it seems like it goes towards making her look a bit older..mature...wiser?

On a guy, I dunno. I don't pay attention, but on girls it can make them look a bit older. I hate finding out a girl has pretty eyes only because she has contacts that enhance their brightness or whatever.

I got laser eye surgery - I used to wear glasses for so long, I'm happy they're gone now. I wear sunglasses everywhere like some prick with a stick up his ass, it's amazing.

Like Carmi said, you can dress nicely for quite cheap or pay shitloads of cash and look ridiculous.
I enjoy paying more for more comfortable clothes but don't want their looks to stand out.
Also some brands are making millions by selling shitty but expensive clothes because there are many people with no style who buy whatever is more expensive.

You can go to a shop like Topman/Topshop and buy a top for £30. But then you will see 100's of people wearing the same thing. Or you can go to Harvey Nics and get a top for £300. But you probably won't be seeing someone else wearing it.

You can't buy style. But better clothes cost more money. Just the same with better cars. You can look good in a mini. But you'll look better in a Veyron.
