I'm an actor from Brooklyn N.Y looking for the opportunity to audition for the Tupac Biopic directed by Antoine Fuqua. Straight up...I know I have HELLA work to do and I'm not trying to be like Pac, nor do I want to, but I do know that I have the ability and passion to bring THE ICON to L.I.F.E. Check out my acting reel and my work speaks for itself!

You don't really put me in the mind of Tupac. I know you said you're not trying to be him but the video is titled "The next Tupac" He had a big presence and those are big shoes to fill. He was arrogant but still likable and relatable.

Good Luck with the acting though...it was pretty good.

Thanks Keco...Trust me, you don't have to tell me I have some big shoes to fill. I just want the opportunity to tell his story. That's all!! The title was just to get people to view it on Youtube LOL. I could have used Gangbang Porn but I didn't want to go that route LMAO

If you want to try to apply for his role then observe him more and work on your voice, the way you speak and body language because they don't feel like Pac's.

I can see you're really into it, and that's always admirable. You don't really have the look, but hey that's what Hollywood make up is for. lol

Else from that, I dunno, nothing personal, but I don't really see it. Maybe if you keep posting more and more vids it might help and change my mind, but for the time being, I don't see it in terms of body language and that pronounced charisma Pac had.

Good luck as Keco said with the acting. You seem to love doing it, so maybe that's a path for you to walk on.

Yeah Masta, I'm watching videos everynight...From Tupac Resurrection to Tupac Assassination. I'm listening to music and finding songs that I never knew existed LOL. I use my cellphone as a voice recorder mastering his voice. I know the energy will come once I channel the essence of Pac. Thank you for you insight FOR REAL, I will make good use of it.

LOL@Hollywood makeup Yeah they've done wonders for certain people FOR REAL! I'm that passionate about my career Flipmo and as well as playing this part. Everyone has their own reasons for wanting the part, but mine is for the challenge! To portray such a convoluted individual such as Pac would mean to REALLY dig deep and stretches any actor who plays the part. They can only learn and get better as an artist playing a role like this. I admired Pac before this...but because I've been reading books, watching interviews from other's about him and etc, he was just someone who wanted to be free to express himself and not be judged. I won't go deeper into it because I don't want to put everyone to sleep LOL, but thanks for the comment Flipmo...it's highly appreciated!

We should do some method acting up in here. Ask you questions and you answer them as Tupac. Let Yeshua critique your answers.

ok...maybe not the last part.

Are you as passionate about acting as you are about Tupac? What came first?

Honestly Elmira...Tupac actually helped me land my first movie LOL. I swear to G.O.D, my audition for Finding Forrester when they asked me the read the lines all I could think about was Pac! And the rest was history. I was digging Pac before acting and that's a story in itself. That's why this role means so much to me!

LOL...aight SHOOT first question! But you have to also create scenarios because whatever mood Pac was in, it would determine his response

It was better than I was expecting. But like others said just try and get those little things right, the charisma is so important and you gotta make it look natural. Not an easy thing to do. I think you did a good job with the interview, but I dunno I didn't get the sense you meant it. Pac had that fire in him that you felt, don't just say the words make the movements, MEAN IT.

You did no worse than they idiot that played Pac in Notorious.

With this crowd it's going to be tough to do Tupac justice. Most of us--and I'm assuming it's the same with you, Self--are big time obsessives or were at one time. Not a bad rendering though. I liked it.

Just saw your rapping. You've got the flow on Hellrazer all wrong. You need to learn when to breath. Your voice isn't there either, you need to project a little more. Pac spat from his stomach you're spitting from your throat. Same with when you're doing the interviews.

Also, Self, I am starting to suspect that you only signed up for this board to promote your acting stuff. That's okay with me, I just thought I'd point it out.

^same thought I had.

Anyway,

You seem like a good actor, but you don't have the swag Pac had.

He moves when he speaks. Some people talk with their hands, he talked with his tone and body language.

You need to do that.

Sound more like you are (not necessarily out of breath), but in a more passionate tone, (not angry).
Actually, I can't really explain it. Pac was Pac.

^It's sad that i know what you're talking about "I am gonna say that I'm a thug...that's because I came from the GUTTER and I'm still HERE" ...we're a bunch of stans.

It doesn't bother me that he came to promote his acting. He was referred by another member.

Absolutely Artsy! The videos are just ways to develop the character, like a workout. The more I do it, the more natural it would become. I'm a perfectionist and I just want to get the details precise so the energy and behavior will just come automatically!

And I'm definitely going to take that part about being no worse as a compliment LOL...Thank you for taking the time and offering your insight. It is greatly appreciated!!!
