I fucking hate them.

pimps and hoes...neon parties...character parties...safari parties.

I don't understand how come people tend to have costumes for these occasions. It can't be that they buy a costume for every party. I get pissed spending ten bucks cause it's BYOB let alone whatever it costs for a zebra costume.

Somebody has to feel me on this.

They were cool in school days, but yeah if you're 20+ and still have dress up parties.. you have some serious childhood issues.

All though pimps and hoes is all ways good coz you can be a creep and get away with it.

lol I didn't know they are that popular there.

I once was on a Hawaii-style party so I had to buy me a fancy shirt. It was fun but it was the only "theme party" I've heard of here.

Pimps and hoes? wtf?

an excuse for guys to dress up like gangsters and for chicks to dress up like sluts. guys like being gangsters in controlled environments, and chicks like being sluts in controlled environments. it gives a false sense of control over life.

they used to be popular here too. i never part-took.

The pimps and hoes theme here is usually every halloween at Light Ultra Club here in Montreal, but I agree with you. The themed parties have got to stop. For Halloween, it's understandable, but outside of that, just annoying.

I like wearing normal clothes, not cavemen outfits.

There's a different themed party here almost every week. You can find normal parties, but you can find themed parties also. My friends and I usually throw parties with absurd and confusing themes that are clearly a joke (as in, no one should dress up for them), and people get confused as for what to do. I actually might be going to a "Walk of Shame" party tomorrow night also...

They can be fun. Too many of em suck though. If it's someone's birthday or something like that then ok, but I don't know, I'm pretty content with Halloween lol

I don't know why the fuck people need an occasion to do something. If I felt like dressing up as a pirate tomorrow, I would.

Ditto. If I wanna do something I simply do it. I don't need anyones approval.

Its the same with my birthday. People always ask me why I don't organize some big event for my birthday. Its simple really, I don't see the point. I'm going to party just as hard on my birthday as I'm going to on any given night of the year that I decide to party. I also hate when I see everyone from high school, who I haven't talked to in 2+ years and they act like were good friends. As long as I have my boys around its a guaranteed good time.

And yeah, theme parties suck. I don't have time to find myself a costume for halloween, let alone for every second party.

I agree. What's even worst are the people who are lazy about their theme parties... One party is the All Black Party (everyone wears black). Next theme is the All White Party (everyone wears white) and they just alternate between those two options.. back and forth.. idiots.
