I've no idea if Obama will do anything about it. Its about time that the truth of 9/11 came out. Ever since I started reading about the oddities behind it, I've been spooked that the nation could be manipulated about going into war. I remember watching Bush on TV saying, "You're either with us, or against us." I was shocked to see that he actually won a second term as President. What the f!@k were Americans thinking? (disclaimer: this is a totally uninformed comment)
The only thing that makes me doubt these conspiracy theories is that I doubt the American Government could have planned 9/11 just to go to war. If they wanted to bomb Iraq, Afghanistan or whatever country Americans have never heard about...........they could have just done so. There is no need to come up with such an intricate plan".

Apparently the plan was to go into iraq, take hold of the oil, move into afghasistan then take over the heroin production.
There was a 60 mintues episode I saw somewhere online, it was an Australian special on the troops in Afghan and how they were walking around, sorry, rather protecting the taliban while they worked their crops, and the soldier's response to a pretty obvious question was "its not our mission to worry about these people we are here only to secure the area" ......secure the area huh, what so the nobody disturbs the heroin production?
What a complete joke our government is, and the Australian, and English, we are all in bed with the queen and her elites. It's obvious when you realize that Geroge Bush is Queen Elizabeth's 13th cousin, bit of a conflict of interest, for our "free nation" wouldn't you think?

OK, you seem to have a better idea on what wages and international war. Please remember I'm not arguing.
The way I see it: the USA run this planet as we all know. If they went to war for no reason, which other country would stand up to them? Risk getting a nuclear bomb dropped on your country? Is it worth the risk or the lives?
I think the world would just watch and let them do what they wanted.

Well, lets take Iraq for example. The US wanted Germany (like every other country) to support them and send troops. Schröder, the chancellor at the time, said "no, we are not with you on this one" (actually this was one of the very few good things he did in his time being the chancellor). So did other countries as well, like France.
See, there are countries that raise their voices against the US if necessary. However, it doesnt mean that Germany and Co. try and defend Iraq with military help. Obviously not.
Furthermore, the chance of the US dropping a nuclear bomb on any country is practically zero (with Obama being in charge now).

I've watched these developments on TV too and it does fit in really well as a theory. Its there to see and as you put it, its definately a likely scenario.
For me, its just a personal belief (what keeps my sanity) that it was a major terrorist attack. I've seen people jump out of WTC, I've watched the plane slam into that building from 47 different angles at an incredible speed. I've heard the stories of how people watched their loved ones die on live TV.......I mean its a tragedy that makes me wonder how a Government could do this to its own people.
I've seen the footage of firemen saying there is a bomb in the WTC after the plane had hit. To me, that bomb explains how the WTC came down.
However, I know that at some point Cigarette Companies paid a team of doctors to publish a report that stated Cigarettes have no link to lung cancer. As much as we know the truth, someone will always dispel it somehow.
In the end we have to make our own decisions. With 9/11, I'm choosing to bury my head in the sand and imagine it wasn't a Government set up.
USA is not the ultimate earth's military power.
1. I bet even China itself could be a huuuge threat to the US. America knows that and they do everything to keep good relations with China. The Chinese are raised in a national pride which doesn't go along well with America.
Also European countries, Russia + their friends - I'd say they all have superior military.
There are also countries that are just waiting for a good opportunity to bomb the shit out of the USA just for the sake of it (e.g. North Korea).
After all America is in a bad situation. In addition if a few European countries (ex. Germany, France and England) decided to bomb another country (ex. Iran) it would be much easier for them and the risk of a counterstrike would be much smaller than if the bombing was performed by Americans.
2. If America did something stupid they would have half of the world against them, not a single country.
Taking Nato apart the US have no real friends (as opposed to most other countries). Most partnerships with the US have been established for economic and/or other gains.
3. You make it seem like America is the world's most important country which is not true.
I don't think the USA necessarily runs the this planet, but the people that are behind the US government are definately part of the world elite group that runs it.

Yes, China are a huge threat and we all know they are rising to the top. They aren't there yet but they will get there eventually. They are doing good things in my country and are at the same time flooding the market with counterfeit goods
However in terms of Military, USA have it all and no other country matches up to them in this department.USA runs this town. If you wanna knock them off for military might, think of how many things you do in one day that scream back USA to you.
