It's a bit of a grey area the Suarez incident. It is cheating, bottom line. But who wouldn't do the same in that situation or applaud if it was the team you supported.

Nope, not lack of work rate. Remember we used to argue that I don't care that he doesn't work hard and you used to say how most of the goals conceded by his team come from his side. So his lack of workrate has never been a problem for me.

But, put yourself in Dunga's position, you pick this obviously talented footballer for three years, from 2006-2009. Constantly giving him the chance to prove himself, and he keeps fucking it up, why then give him the chance at the World Cup? he rarely had a good game during the first part of the qualifiers and was rightfully dropped. He did fuck all at the 2006 World Cup after coming off a Champions League win with Barca, why would it be different now?

thats true we did. after Liverpool beat Barcelona in 2007. Ronaldinho has always been that way but i cant deny his amazing talent on the ball either. he was one of my favourite players to watch, ever. the things he could do with the ball.

but do you not think he would have been a much better option than lets say Julio Baptista? maybe he might have been a disruptive influence on the rest of the squad. who knows. but i got the impression that Ronaldinho turned a corner last season and was really desperate to make the squad. perhaps it was too late though.

i think we'll both agree on Pato anyway.

this has happened a lot

for example, in the 1993/1994 Coca Cola Final, Kanchelskis saved a certain goal in a similar way. its happened on a few other occasions as well.

Yes, its deliberately violating the rules to prosper, although I loved Ole for that moment. Even look at the crowd, he got a standing ovation when he was sent off. Although in that situation if wasn't clear what would happen if Ole hadn't fouled him, the striker may have missed. In comparison to the Suarez incident where it was a definite goal cleared off the line.

Why is everyone shitting on Suarez? He did what he had to and probably was just a reaction without thinking, and is penalized for it. Uruguay are going ahead without of their better players here. It was for Gyan to make that damn penal - the fact that he fucked it up is his own problem. Suarez in a split second made the decision - let them score, or take a chance to see if they fuck up on the penalty shot. Gyan fucked him - it's his grave, and he should lay in it, simple as that.

And for the record, as much as I love Forlan, I wanted Ghana to win.
