Burgers overflowing with bones, gristle and animal tissue are featuring in a poster campaign to put children off junk food.
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is releasing a series of pictures showing the common ingredients of many burgers, hot dogs and chicken nuggets.
Parts of the images are too sickening to go on the streets and are covered with a censored stamp - but the full ingredients can been seen on the charity's website, www.bhf.org.uk/food
The organisation hopes the campaign will result in youngsters making healthier choices and improving their diet.
More than a third of children aged eight to 14, who were surveyed by the foundation, did not know chips were made from potatoes.
Nearly one in 10 thought they were made of oil, while others believed the main ingredient was eggs, flour or apples.
Another 37% did not know cheese is mostly made from milk.
Sports presenter and mother Gabby Logan is delivering the BHF's "Policy Pizza" to 10 Downing Street, with a list of actions it wants the Government to take, including preventing companies marketing unhealthy foods and drinks directly to children.
The BHF has drafted in the help of a string of celebrities including Andrew Flintoff, The Sugababes, Girls Aloud and Fay Ripley.
It is estimated that an extra 440,000 UK children will become overweight or obese in the next two years, with a quarter predicted to be obese by 2020.
