I have a friend that's getting a presciption for Xanor. I assume it's the norwegian counter-part to xanax. That's pretty top of the line shit right? When do doctors normally subscribe medicine so strong?

Is it easy to bullshit your way to getting the shit (like my friend is making it sound like he is, as if he's "playing the system", or are doctors generally careful with those strong pills?

So yeah, I have a friend who grew up in two foster households, one in which he got beaten up several times. He has no contact with his parents and currently he receives Flunipam, Stesolid and Xanor (not sure how those names translate). He takes a lot of them and he's always fucked up. I've tried to talk to him about it but every time we hang out he's just so fucked up there's no fun anymore. At the same time, he's almost suicidal (remember how I mentioned in a thread how I'm on suicide watch? Yeah.) and some times when shit gets really rough for him he does stupid things. I'm not sure what to think, because his story is that he's bullshitting his doctor to get the meds. I'm not sure if I'm buying it. I'm just looking for more concrete information on what it would take to get those medicines so I know where I can "go" and where I can't with him. I can't just drop the bastard cause I care too much, but I dunno what the fuck to say to him. It's getting worse by the day. At the same time, I realize I'm not a psychologist. I just don't know what to say in a lot of situations and I'm looking for answers from someone who might have been there.

Also, if I was wanting drugs, you guys' opinions about that would be the last thing I cared about, so yeah. I wouldn't ask for a friend you fucking morons lol. I would ask what do I say do get the shit from the doctor, how can I fool him. I told you I lost my virginity to a whore, then alluded to it several times after. And I'm a cocky debatist. I thought it was a given fact that I am shameless.

I'm not. I was making a point. If I could tell you I slept with a whore (which I did in a thread, some people remember it) I could tell you I'm gonna get pills. This thread is not about me wanting to find a way to fool a doctor into giving me pills, and that was what I tried to convey. It wasn't random lol.

No, actually, for those that are actually worried that I'm in some shit right now, I am currently working and living a way healthier life that I did a few years ago, so don't try to read between the lines and just read the posts cause I would value some input if anyone has any pls. I'm fine, my life is fine, I'm not doing any other drugs that cannabis. Really, I was looking for people who know people that get prescription meds.

You can't be another person's twenty-four hour crisis service. You cannot take responsibility for his depression or his drug habit. Depressed ppl need support from friends, but they also need qualified treatment (not just medication). Your position should be that you are not qualified to treat psychological problems. If he's seeing someone, ask him if the talking part is helping or makes any sense. If it is, that's what you should encourage. If it's not, encourage him to see someone else.
