the dog doesn't just look blind, the dog is indeed blind. i'd take anything i found on a site called "snopes.com" with the undertitle "rumour has it" with a grain of salt though. looks more like a doll or a n actual dead dog than anything that's alive. and yes, it is god damn ugly. it actually looks like it's been boiled in a french fries machine, it looks crisp and nice. i wonder what it tastes like mmmmmmmm.
