I think that he exaggerates there a bit too much. Certainly he was aiming to perform a touching speach. The way he speaks clearly shows it. I'm not saying that there's no truth in what he's saying though. Maybe it's just me but I think that his speach was all beautiful and ideologic but had no particular meaning except that people should act better blabla.
