My girlfriend was resting on my chest yesterday and asked one of the deepest, most disturbing and most thought provoking questions ever, why do men have nipples? Its left me questioning my existence and purpose on this planet.


Why the fuck do we have nipples? What are/were they used for?


And damn it, I don't want no hokey scientific answer, science is a religion, I want that real conspiracy theory answer! Don't let science fool you, its a cover up to hide the real truth! WHY DO MEN HAVE NIPPLES?!

Well, it wouldn't be fair if females only had the privilege of pleasure from the nipple. It creates a balance. That's the only sensable answer I know.

Well humans are mammals, so are kangaroos. But with other scientific explenations and no fossil record to support his claims, Darwin was probably wrong, thus it's a theory.

Why should I prove God exists? I never said he does? I never said he doesnt? You're the one that says Darwin is right, I said prove it, therefor the burden of proof lies with you. I made no statements that needs to be proved, you did. What does God have to do with Darwin anyway?



I'll tell you what proof we have though. The very fact that you replied like this, proves that you don't KNOW Darwin is right, you just believe, on blind faith, that he is. Therefore for you science is not about “facts”, its about belief, just like religion is to someone else.


Regardless none of this answers my question, why do men have nipples .

Without Science I can only offer Myth, like the myths associated with star patterns.

My theory why Men have nipples, is a that they (the nipples) make up part of a mythical symbol, of our very nature/existance. On our actual being.

For example: If you played dot-to-dot on the Male torso, including the belly button, you would get a perfect triangle. A Triangle being a quite dominant shape, like it's counterpart number (3), both of which are associated with many high profile things. The Bermuda triangle, for instance.

Two of the most popular symbols relating to the triangle are: The Holy Trinity and the opposing Illuminati.

Just a theory and a myth. I don't expect it to be believed. Call it an imaginative idea.

Yes I understand that, but why would men not having nipples mean women wouldnt? We do have different body parts. Thats like saying if men didnt have penises neither would women, oh wait a second, they dont! It could have been the same for nipples.

Men have lots of body parts women dont and vice versa. Men have penises and adams apples, women dont, women have vaginas, clits and breasts, men dont. Nipples could have been the same, they serve no function for males, so why do we have them?

We are formed with both sexual organs, it's only when the sex of the baby is determined that one stays. Women do have adams apples but ours don't stick out as much as men's. The clit is actually where our penis would have been if we were sexed as male. It's all very vague in my mind but I remember studying this in biology, anyway I'm late for a hair appointment gotta go.
