Why Do You Visit Streethop?

Why do you honestly visit streethop? And what do you check for? Just outta curiousity, want to know everyone's reason.

And if you're gonna put down its a "habit" or something else like that, what do you check for when you visit the site?

I visit the site to check out new information on upcoming albums.Read peoples opinions about hip-hop,sports and to also give my opinion on the various topics.Maybe give people some info on what I think of an album,or new post information people might not have heard about.Good idea for the thread.I was reading the other one about how this website isn't as good as it used to be for alot of the people who have been here for a while.Was going to give an opinion but I've only been visiting this site for less than a month,personally I love this website.I forgot to add this is the only website on the web where I could find people actually discussing hip hop intelligently instead of "FUCK FIFTY,HE'S WACK" (for example) people actually give reasons for their likes and dislikes.Thanks,Peace

well it obviously is a habit. these are the forums i visit most often:

- streethop forum for hiphop news, links, etc. i don't participate nearly as much as i leech information and links there. my bad, but whatever. i'll work on it.
- life. i am, first and foremost, and always will consider myself a tupac fan. even if some times i strayed and stopped listening to his stuff as much as i used to. i quit collecting too, althought i purchase the little thing here and there every now and then.
- our block. this is more habit than anything i think, but i do think this is where you'll find most of my post-2005 posts.
- unsigned hype/mix em up/art of war to discuss, post, and download music made by members of this board, as well as getting help and pointers.
- words of wisdom, i always check it although i hardly ever post in it. jokerman and glockmatic's endless quarrels with tech neex and the rest of the faithful entertain me.
- entertainment tonight to see if there's anything new in the lost thread
- letter 2 the pres/comission cause i'm a moderator
- vip forums cause i'm a vip member and there's free porn
- occasionally i check fair xchange and those forums at the bottom cause every now and then, dante does a major exposure or something cool happens that normally gets talked about in the dealing forums.

that's the individual sub-forums i come here for. obviously though, i come here for a lot of members as well. i'm not gonna name names because i'll just put a lot of you on there for pity and i'd probably forget someone i'd really wanna put on it. generally though, all the members here make up a general feel to this board that i like. a lot of you probably can't relate, but if you grow up in a small town and then move to the big city when you grow up, you'll always enjoy coming back to good ol' town again every summer and meet your friends. i have that every day here on streethop

Streethop to check for some info about hip-hop or to read some nice facts about rappers, albums, mixtapes etc.

Do for love sometimes to help people out

and sometimes others if i see intresting subjects on the main page

Honestly, I only came back recently because some people who I respect a lot asked me too. When I do come, I check for topics either started by or last replied to by certain people.

If I see last activity by SiGh, Big Easy, bigMack, _Carmi, KeCo, Thuggie, Meyer, Puff, AM, etc. I automatically check the thread because it's usually something of interest in there. More than likely, i'll post as well. I don't too often check threads by newer members because they're usually dick riding some rapper or posting links to dumb videos that we've all seen already.

Oh yeah, if there's porn involved, I'll click the link too :horny:

I have no real reason, i think mostly just so i can keep in touch with rukas, i dont keep up much on rap anymore and really dont care to know whats going down with pac anymore, not that i dont love his work i just dont have a taste for whats being done to it.

If anything i stop on by to make sure everything is going smoothly with the members. Banning when needs to be and what not, its like a job in many regards it has to be done and i have always been obligated to do it because rukas is my boy.

I visit Streethop to read other peoples opinions. i also like to drop my two cents to a discussion. i read up on whats going on in the world of hip-hop, an whats the latest in 2pac's Legacy.

i visit to read the funny comments left by other board members. its a nice place to hang out an get away from the stress of the real world. i like to hang out and play in the arcade

When Hitemup.com was online, I used to visit strictly for 2Pac news. Even after Hitmeup.com was gone, it was still about 2Pac. Part of me visiting here is STILL about 2Pac. But since I met some really nice people on this forum, that gave me another reason to post here.

I was introduced to mixing after visiting the mixemup forum on StreetHop (over a year ago) and I wanted to get into it. I moved onto producing songs, though I don't really post up too much of my work, I like getting feedback and opinions from people on the songs I make when I do post something up.

I recently got the opportunity to work for StreetHop.com writing articles. I than moved on to interviewing artists for this site, which is something I really enjoy doing. Working for StreetHop is another reason why I come here.

I like talking to people, I like reading the threads and what people have to say in them (especially about me), I like doing interviews with artists, I wan't to get my name up as a music producer, and as an interviewer. I like visiting StreetHop.com because they have helped me realize that working for them is what I really enjoy doing. Producing songs, interviewing artists, meeting people. What more could you ask for? StreetHop.com is more than just a internet forum, it's a lifestyle. I luv streethop.
