the teacher was obviously trying to fit in but wasn't in his right.i don't think he was racist in the term he was speaking but felt like he was accepted by his black students to vocalize with them in the same matter they use.getting fired is a'lil carried away,but the punishment of counseling on adversity seems fit.that black kid is taking it a lil overboard with showing his achievements to add simpathy to his side of the story.the point of of me showing is that people like to talk about coming together but are isolated at the same time.

The teacher made an honest mistake that ended up being offensive but he didn't have bad intentions. The kid had a right to be mad about it and report it to school officials, but he's blowing it way out of proportion, it's not like the teacher said, "I'm gonna fuckin' lynch you, you dirty nigger, right after you pick me some cotton."

Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock have been saying "nigger" in their stand-up comedy routines for years, it's all fun and games. A white teacher slips and says "nigga" just trying to identify with a student, and then all hell breaks loose in South Park.

What wasnt said was whether the kid had used the word himself, the teacher was rationalising it by saying its said all the time between students but was this kid one of them? If not then you can definately understand the anger he has. Plus its just common sense not to use it, if he has a problem with the students saying it go through the right ways of making that a school rule. I dont care this guy is a nutcase dont know how he's managed to stay employed there.
