where to go in New York?

does anyone have any tips, suggestions and ideas about where to visit in New York? I'm only there for 4 days but i want to make the most of it. i will be going early january - smack bang in the middle of winter if that helps.

I hear the World Trade Center is a great place to visit.

When I went last, in 2005, I was sent to the Meat Packing District... I was dubious because of the name... But it was a very good night out... I had sex 6 hours after I'd landed in NY with a beautiful lady.... So it was a succesful night...


Then there's all the obvious sights.... Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty....

Definately factor in Ground Zero... It's a huge part of modern history and was very eerie when I went. Me and my mates just stood in silence for about 20 minutes.

Spend a day walking around in Manhattan - many important places are there.

I always wanted to eat at some of the restaurants you see on Man vs Food, there are a couple in NY you could check out.
