I mean, it used to be that only those in the Armed Forces would have dog tags - maybe their family members if it had been passed on - but now if you see dog tags it don't mean shit.

It used to mean that the dude has put his life on the line for something greater than himself....it's fucked up

well i don't know about you guys and where you are from, everybody i know here who owns a dog tag they don't have "thug life" they have something significant for their life, and it's just a fucking dog tag fuck!

kind of like a cross which people wear all the time, they are not suppost to be respected or adored, they are just a representation of Jesus, but i don't see you hating on those people.

A cross is a different matter. I'm pretty sure Jesus was good whether he was alive or dead (being God's son & all)> These are mortal men with families putting their lives on the line.

And Jesus didn't share a bond with Mohammed & the rest of the prophets that was instantly recognisable by wearing a cross....soldiers did.
