In the 60s a judge said that God didn't want interracial couples getting married because "God put coloured people on different continent so they wouldn't mix.", the arguments against interracial marriage back then are almost the same as gay marriage today.

i dont believe that took place. what judge said this? and what faith did he believe in? from what i know about world religions, none prohibit interracial marriages

yes interratial reltaionships are frowned upon by mostly every race and culture and the bible is said to pretty much ban anything not dissing it but everything that can be remotely good is considered bad...i have nothing against the couples but i know a lot who do, including the bible.

It's a very wrong thing to do morally, religiously or even scientifically speaking. At the same time what do you want to do when people say you can't prevent these types of things.

I believe someone should be able to choose what THEY want to do and not have it be decided by a court. God says I have to go to church every Sunday, but I don't. Why should there be a law for gay marriage and not this?
