What is your idea of the afterlife?

Dude, where's your brain?!! You just mindlessly follow this without even thinking about why and where these stories came from?

You sound like a kid who still believes in Santa Claus!! I mean every child believed in him at one point because we were all told stories about him and what a great man he is and he brought great presents every year. We actually believed that there was one guy who does all of this for every child in the world in one night even though we knew it was an impossible feat but we could believe it cuz our parents told us it was true.

But that was because we were mindless children who didn't know better. If nobody ever told you the truth and your parents still put presents under the tree every Christmas and all of your peers were still convinced and excited about Santa would you still believe in him??!

I suggest you open your mind and start living in the real world cuz that's all there really is and when your life is over nothing will matter.

The only way anyone can live on after their death is in the memories of others, (like the way we all keep Tupac's memory alive on here) also through your children and then their children.
I'd like to think we all go somewhere when we die, but if you really sit down and think about it, you'll realise that the chances are when your gone your gone!! :(
 
Nice post radkin. It's true, memories is all we will be. And even at that, not to be grim but, three generations down the line &, unless we've achieved something exceptional, our family will've forgotten/never known about us.
 
have you guys ever played nintendo. well life is like mario brothers. basically each life we live is like a different level.If we succeed in life,we move on to the next level,if we fail(hence we die),then we restart the level. if you pass all the levels,then u get to go to heaven,but if u get a game over before complete all the levels,then you go to hell. simple as that.

in islam, in the end,we all end up going to heaven.the people who sinned will be punished in hell,but its not forever. in heaven, u customize it,u can have anything u want, u can fuck any and all the hoes u want, u can ride the tightest cars,u can hear all the unleaked 2pac shit u want. this is what i believe in,and i will continue to believe it until i die. i love my life no matter how bad times get. i always praise allah before i go to sleep for giving me my life. peace
 
i think the concept of a an after-life that human beings have developed would look completely rediculous to beings that had the ability to see in 4 dimensions (space-time)

i honestly beleive that our lives have been here 'forever'...and will continue to be here 'forver' -theres no need for an after-life...

this moment right now...(as in me writing this post) has either happened in the past or in the future just depending on what your perspective is. (i.e there is no future or past, just points in time)

I believe you will exit your body.. and then are a 'spirit'..and you can do whatever you think of in an instant..maybe review the life you lived..

maybe you can choose then if you want to have another 'life' experience or not..

I don't believe in a heaven ( not as described) or a hell..but I do believe in 'god'. :)

Basicly I recommend reading 'conversation with god' .. it might clear up alot.. (www.cwg.org)
 
listen i know its wrong but i still believe it, anyways i believe we eventually will become something else on this planet could be another human,animal or wtv depending on the nature of how you lived your previous life.

How do you know its wrong? Its just as plausible as the other beliefs. (its also called Reincarnation)

but newayz I stick to what I always say there is no after life...it is only logical i say that cuz im an atheist...so you get born you live ya life and than you die...hihi
