Weed and stomach acid

Anyone know the relation between the two? I think I have an ulcer and the last times I smoked my stomach started to hurt real bad and my throat was burning with acid. Made it a very shitty, intense high.

my uncle had my cousin smoke for the first time cause his stomach was hurting, seemed to help him!

to me weed is a cure not a problem! lol

Haha no it doesn't. My physical health is going downhill and it makes smoking very shitty. The past year I'm always tired and when I smoke I have to struggle to stay awake once I'm burnt out. Got a lot of headaches, which increase when I smoke etc.

I found this:

"Cannabis will decrease the production of stomach acid, which is an important defence against infectious organisms swallowed. Regular cannabis smokers will become susceptible (very likely to be influenced by) to infections."

I read up on ulcers and I found that it's caused by a bacteria and not stress, although stress can make it far worse. I first started having problems with my stomach 5 months ago back when I was smoking every day so it makes sense. Stress finished off the job and now I can't enjoy smoking

I'll just smoke half a joint and see if I get sick. Good to know since I'm going over to a friend's place and we smoke all day. Feeling shitty when high is one thing but feeling shitty when high among people is another thing

when your inhaling, see if your inhaling any smoke into your stomach, like swallowing some smoke, because when i do that my stomach will hurt afterwards..

well he was a worry wort, he about a year later found out he had an Ulcer, maybe the weed made it worse.

where did you get that info? I don't trust shit they say about WEED!

This stuff use to happen to me when I was eating weed for a while. I was stressed at the time so that added to it, it went away eventually when I started smoking it again.

Could just be a dodgy batch of weed. I've smoked weed that I bought from this one guy and I got sick, so I didnt buy from him for ages, smoked loads of weed and been fine, then a few months later i bought it again from the same guy and got sick again..... just goes to show.
