Is it me or is weather off this year?

Where I live, it's broke records for the coldest summer.

My sister lives in another state, and she said it's hot compared to usual.

There are other things involved to, to warrant a thread, but I forgot them right now. haha

In Montreal we broke records for hottest heat waves. We had one last week. Now we are back to regular temperatures.

But I won't complain. I loooooved the heat waves. Then again, I have AC so I was comfortable at night when sleeping.

....lol nah I'm playing, but it's very true, a lot of record setting weather patterns in Toronto as well. I guess global warming isn't a myth.

we get irregular summers now. 2-3 (or 3-4 years ago) we had heavy rain and floods two summers in a row, no sun...

but now, the summer starts of dull, maybe just warm, with rain and we all think it'll stay that way... then it gets very hot after a month or two, and we have hot weather for about 3-5 weeks if we're lucky, and then it starts dying down eventually with a bit more rain and less sunshine.

right now i can see ice sunlight and lots of clouds - so i know the sunlight will be blocked out at midday and it'll be dull, grey and miserable later on.

also, about 5-6 years ago we had the hottest summer in about 40 years (i think), the roads were melting and there were tyre marks and deformities.

last year, we had the coldest winter for a long long time, -15 i think the lowest was. i got off the bus one day around 7pm on my way home and within 2 minutes i couldnt feel my hands.

We just had a storm for a couple of days which is very very rare for this time of year. It seemed to be a colder Winter than normal. Will see how Summer goes last year it got pretty hot.

New Zealand just had an earthquake in one of their major cities.. 7 on the richter scale... Biggest one in 70 years..

Yeah the summer here sucked this year. It was either extremely hot or cold and raining. Now it's cold already, like 10 degrees Celsius. Usually it's still summer in September here.

We had one of the hottest summers but I loved it. I love heat. We were in the upper 90s consistently. When I went further south though it was like hell. Had to take 3 showers a day or stay in water to be comfortable.

yeah but come the end of september early october.. southern california dont they usually get two months of hot weather?

like Keco said its been a hot summer in Ohio, now its coolin off a bit. right now sunny and in the 70s, tonight will be a bit nippy as the low is suppose to be about 47 degrees. i would take 60s and 70's all the way to the end of the year.

i hate the weather we have here atm. mild, clammy and raining. so when your out and about your sweating and getting wet at the same time. roll on the winter and the nice cold dry days.

One hting I still think is weird is that there seems to be way more natural disasters happening

To some degree yes. but I dont remember a time where we had so many big earthquakes, we got haiti, the one in chile, indonesia, india, japan, solomon islands, china, california, and more more

^That is all bullshit.

We have maybe a hundred years of data on this stuff. To make an accurate claim about increases in earthquakes, storms etc you'd need thousands of years of data and that would still be extremely iffy.

It was the hottest July-August stretch NYC has ever seen. It was hot as shit all summer.

Fires all over Russia, flooding in Pakistan, hurricanes in Texas. No fun right now. Scary.

But where I am right now, it's cool and windy, exactly as I prefer it to be.
