Any of you been to Sankey Soaps? It's like a real underground sweatbox of a club in amongst a load of old warehouses. Went there last night to see 2ManyDJs play and they had the place absolutely bouncing for the 3 hours they did, was immense.

Just curious to see if anyone has been and what you thought of it, who was on etc?

I guess it depends what music you like and what DJs are playing. Like i said, it's a grimey sweatbox of a club, basically in an old warehouse but with a really low ceiling. You like Take That though so you'll probably hate it!

I actually had you in mind when i made this thread seein as it's your neck of the woods. If you like shit like 2ManyDjs, Scratch Perverts and the like you'll enjoy it, but like i said, depends on the DJ and the set i guess.

When i was there they mixed everythin from Kaiser Chiefs to Blur's Song 2, Michael Jackson to Skeelo with lots of bass to keep it bouncin. It's more about the way the way it's mixed and how you can't leave the dancefloor for fear of missing out on another decent track. If you like a mates-with-everyone atmosphere, varied music, don't mind people around you bein pilled up or the cubicals bein used for everythin but there intended use then you'll love it. I recommend it to anyone once, or any 2ManyDJs set, anywhere.

i've heard of it, some of my friends have been, they didn't really like it though.
i was gonna go one time but there was a fight in my area and so i didn't end up going. i don't really think it's my kinda scene to be honest
