Fresh Fest 06 – featuring Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, Roxanne Shante, Doug E. Fresh, Chubb Rock, Rob Base and EZ Rock – will kick off in April in Great Britain.
The original groundbreaking tour was initially launched in 1984 with Run-DMC, Kurtis Blow, Whodini and others. Fresh Fest 06 will also feature other elements of hip-hop such as graffiti artists, beat boxers, break dancers and rap battles.
So far, one show has been set at the Carling Academy in Brixton on April 29. More stops will be announced at a later date.
