Michael Owen isn't a bad striker. What he does, he does well. He's quick, he's got great positional sense, very good finishing and can take it round players. Unfortunately, we don't now have anyone to play alongside him. Hopefully if Joe Cole or Stevie Gerrard gets pushed up to play alongside him they can try to fill the Rooney role.DutchPac2 said:England got the best midfield, good defense, just a shame they got such bad strikers.

And yeah it took him only 12 matches....because he was injured rest of the time.
In portugal in 2004 he scored.....1 time. Amazing striker.
He did just a little better in 2002, when he scored 2 times. Only one can be considered important though, the one against Brazil.
Believe what you want to believe but i don't think he is gonna do it for England. And no, I don't need any results 4 that.
