Tyrese to release rap album

Model/Singer/Actor Tyrese Gibson has stated that he will be making the transition from R&B to rap under the alias Black Ty.

The artist is at work on a new album called Alter Ego, a double-CD project that will feature R&B on one disc and Hip-Hop on the other.

Confirmed guests include Kurupt, and Guerilla Black, and a guest appearance from The Game is rumored.
