For the most part, I think humanity just prevail over all else. Whatever they're accused of doing, they don't need to be treated like this at all.
My solution may be hypocritical, but I think public execution by firing squad of all those responsible for the torture is truly "honorable discharge." Anything else is a slap on the wrist. The ones that serve this country properly and abide by the laws while doing so deserve their honor and accolades. Shitbags like these deserve to be made an example of for anyone joining the military or police force, that abuse of power is punishable by death if it gets this bad.
