for years i have typed this to get the thumb the to appear. are you gonna make me change my ways now?!

EDIT: where it now says "the thumb" there was a thumb icon when i posted this. i clicked the thumb in that little menu to the right and it appeared in my post, then i posted, and it's gone!!!
