Anyway, thread title. Serious. I don't know what it is about it but this picture is the saddest picture I have ever seen, coupled with the 9/11 fireman carrying the dead baby with his gloves off, not knowing the child was already dead.

its sad. but its not a picture thats gonna make me cry. events make me cry, not pictures. its not because we dont cry that we dont acknowledge the sadness of the picture.

yeah like i said i didn't really cry, i just felt really sad. it's so brutal. it looks like a damn near mangled child. like he was blown sixty feet by an explosion and died from impact, then left there collecting dust, being covered by tiny pieces of debris. if i'm not mistaken it's a picture from iraq, but i honestly don't remember. either way, you get on that save-the-world tip for a little while when you see shit like this or i do at least.
