My credit card expired so they sent me a new one. Everytime I get one I think of this. They want you to sign the back of your credit card, but they put numbers in the space where you're supposed to sign. Sure, you can sign around it, but I have a long name (Jokerman) and I need the space. If I have to squeeze it in then it doesn't look like my normal signature, so what's the point? Plus it's like the slickest surface they can come up with to try to write on. Most pens don't work on it and then when you finally do get it on there, it smudges and wipes off from daily use in no time at all. And then the 3-digit verification number is right where you swipe the card and becomes illegible after about 50 swipes, so if you don't remember it, you can't buy certain things or verify you have the card in your hand.
And then some cards have their cus service phone numbers so small and in a color that's the most hard to see in contrast to the color of the card!
WTF!
Me-"Customer service?"
Cus Service- "Yes."
Me- "I think there's been some mistake. There's no grease, tar, or vasoline on my card. I think I might be able to write my name on it."
Cus Service- "I'm so sorry, sir. Just send it back to us and we'll get that taken care of."
Me-" I'd like the one with K-Y jelly on it, please."
