so i went over my stupid download limit again this month, it was supposed to roll over at midnight, so midnight comes around and nothing happens, i go to check the usage and this is the bullshit i see. it says data used 100%, days elapsed 103%.

Where? I dont see any ADSL2 plans available, and the only reference I can see on the site is that some companies are "testing" the service.

ADSL+ is like normal DSL (ADSL) which to make it simple is internet over the "telephone cable" but in it's yet nearly fastest option. Actually ADSL2+ was partially developed in Poland thus it was installed here in 2004/2005 and it's the ONLY DSL service currently provided here (without any limits).
In theory it's superior to any DSL service except still unfinished ADSL3.
There are still some downfalls in ADSL2+ like speed varying depending on factors like distance between user and central and occuring connection problems etc. Also in theory it's able to transfer up to 24mbit/s and send up to 1mbit/s (for user up to 2km from central).

I think it'd be the most popular network in countries like Australia where there's no way to build a normal cable network because of distances between houses.
Here it's popular in smaller towns where it's not profitable to build a high-speed internet network or wifi spot.
