As you all know, the verdict is coming down some day this week. Of course, I can't work during the verdict week because I need to spend all my time praying and hoping everything goes right.

The problem is...people don't understand how much we care about the man, and when I say I need to focus on trial, they laugh. I am now having a difficulty finding an excuse to get out of work. If I can't come up with anything, I'll quit. That's how important it is.

They already know its because of the verdict, but everyone's laughing it up, because, to them, its nothing. For us, its a question of...are we going to jail possibly for the next 20 years? That's something serious.

For the record, whenever I say "we," I am refering to the The King, the defense (a lot of love for T-Mez, Oxman, Sanger, Yu, etc.), the fans, and myself. I use "we" in normal everyday language even when I am talking to friends and family. When we had a bad day in court, I say something like "Today was not a good day for us."

Get help Pennypacker........seriously.

Either you're rich or retarded.

I am a normal fan, I must say. There are fans that go as far as to change their personalities or their appearance (to look like The King). I am nothing like that.

I'll make jokes about The King, as long as it is truthful and if its something I'd say in his presence. I'll say "this or that song sucks." I'll question what he does, and I'll call him strange at times. After all, everyone is strange from time to time.

I am perfectly normal.

But just because you're not as insane as some nutcases doesn't mean you're completely sane, does it? Or normal compared to some of the most abnormal people on the planet.

I mean this causes you emotional stress & possible financial stress (if you miss days or quite your work altogether).

I'm a big fan of Michael Jackson. I have been ever since I was 5,I own all his records. But I think you're obsessed. Damn man, you can't work during the verdict week? You are going to be praying all week? I think that's taking it a little too far.

I hope he is found innocent, since I'm a fan. But if he is found guilty then it really doesnt make a difference for me. Life is life. It's not as if i'll cry for him,or be upset for awhile because of that. Shit,I don't even fuckin know him.

Ermmm... News flash. If MJ is convicted I doubt they will let you sit in his cell with him.

Seriously, ok you're a fan, but for this to get to you mentally and fuck with your work is a little over the line.

I think you're kind of obsessed and thats no healthy.

And why waste your prayers on Michael? If he's such a good person God will do what He feels is best for him regardless of your prayers. If you want to pray for someone pray for the kids around the world Michael wanted to help who really need your prayers.

You're investing way too much emtional and spiritual worth into one man.

man homie you need some help...your willing to quit your job over someone whom in real life situation shit couldnt give 2 fucks about you. Your too old for him to care. I mean its "cute" that you call him the king and all that but if the man wasnt puttin himself in these types of situations then he wouldnt be on trial in the First place.
U dont need to be "stan" to be a fan... I guest ur just takin Fan (short of fanatic) a little to literal.

God bless and i pray that you make the right decision

I mean this causes you emotional stress

It does cause me stress, and worry. That's true.

But I think you're obsessed. Damn man, you can't work during the verdict week?

I can't work on the day of the verdict, and because I don't know exactly what day it is, I should take off all week, but then again, I can't. I've been put on the schedule, and its difficult to find an excuse.

You are going to be praying all week?

I don't think its any more devoted than an average American saying "God, please help the soldiers." I'll definitely make supplications.

But if he is found guilty then it really doesnt make a difference for me. Life is life. It's not as if i'll cry for him,or be upset for awhile because of that. Shit,I don't even fuckin know him.

I am sure I'll cry because its as if I grew up with the man and there's a difference between liking some random celebrity and liking Michael. Most celebrities are just characters you remember from TV, but this is a man whose music and words spoke to you, much like Pac is to many. Like I told Harry_Potter, if Pac was on trial for something like this, I'd call into work and tell them I couldn't work.

I don't know either Pac or Michael, but you connect with some celebrities on a better level than others. Most are no-bodys to me.

Ermmm... News flash. If MJ is convicted I doubt they will let you sit in his cell with him.

I prefer using we. I don't actually mean that I'll join him.

Seriously, ok you're a fan, but for this to get to you mentally and fuck with your work is a little over the line.

I work at a place that pays me poorly. Lately, for unrelated reasons, I've been getting sick to my stomach working there, and if there's a good reason for leaving, this is it. I'll be leaving soon anyway, so if they give me two options...leaving or watching the verdict, its going to be the verdict.

My parents pay for pretty much everything, so its not like the work is critical. Considering I am overworked, paid poorly, and I've lost interest, I'll be leaving soon anyhow. That's the difference between where I work, and where you work. Your work actually means something to you.

And why waste your prayers on Michael? If he's such a good person God will do what He feels is best for him regardless of your prayers. If you want to pray for someone pray for the kids around the world Michael wanted to help who really need your prayers.

From my teachings, God wants people to pray to Him and ask Him for stuff, so its not like I'd be "wasting" prayers. I could pray for Mike and the kids you spoke of. There's 24 hours in a day...there's plenty of time to pray for everyone.

PennyPackcer all i'm going to say is , "if only, you could hear yourself, you would realise how pathetic you sound"!!!!

It is pathetic to look up to a celebrity too much, but that's not the case here. Michael, to me and other fans, is just like this guy from the neighborhood you've grown up with. He's no special person, and you worry about him as much as you would worry about any decent humanbeing.

your willing to quit your job over someone whom in real life situation shit couldnt give 2 fucks about you.

Michael does not care about his fans? I think you're thinking of Eminem. Michael is one of the few musicians who will give back to the fans for everything they've done for him.

if the man wasnt puttin himself in these types of situations then he wouldnt be on trial in the First place.

He may elevate the chances of him being accused of this or that, but he never asked for it. You can only do so much to prevent false accusations. Lets say you went to a club to hit on women. You're increasing the chances of being accused of rape at some point as opposed to going to the library to read a book. Like I said, there's only so much you can do, and paranoia can't help you.

In relation to this topic, I just wanted to say to British posters that there will be a program on about loonies like Pennypacker (I say that with love my man :D) on Sky One called Camp Michael. I think it's tomorrow night it's on.......
