I gotta question about the police.... wanna know if this is legal what they did or not....

Now keep in mind this im at home wit my mom dad and me or whatever, nobody drinks, smokes or none of that stuff and our neighbors call the police on us alot cuz we keep our dog (st benard which loves the cold weather) in the cold alot they called the animal cruelty people on us alot and when the people come and talk to us they say they know the dog loves the cold and has hell in the winter but the old ladies next door keep callin and harrassin them or whatever...and they said they would take a note of this and they wouldnt come back ...

Now last night at around 3am i guess they couldnt get the animal cruelty people so im assuming that they called the police. It was about 3:45 in the morning and the police were ringing the doorbell, knockin loud on the door trying to get in our house. We have a garage connected to our house wit the remote to open it or whatever, they banged and knocked on the door for about 10-15 mins...

None of us opened the door cuz of the time of the morning it was. So I heard one of the guys say, go ahead lets open it up. They went to the driveway with some kinda button or something and opened our garage door i guess they took down the cars we had in the garage, and the license plates and shit. They could have gotten into our house if we left the door that connects the garage to the house, but we had the top lock locked they couldnt get in but they were trying kinda hard

Is this legal??? My dad was tellin me what they did wasnt legal and if he woulda answered the door or went in the garage when they did this he woulda reported it to the state or something and he said he wish he woulda had proof of this so he could turn file a case on them or something.

that's not true.

and yes, what they did was illegal. no worries, because any illegally obtained evidence is inadmissable. too bad you didn't have the officers' badge numbers, you'd have gotten paid.
 
word I hate cops...naw that ain't legal, but what cop does things by the book...

Man I was back in Washington relaxing during thanksgiving and I've been stopped quite a few times for no license, once for 2nd degree wreckless driving, and a few other charges here and there....Now my friend has never been stopped for anything, never got a speeding ticket (even though the dude is a speed demon) Now here we was drunk as hell driving in a snow storm, well we ended up hitting the snow bank and we couldn't get out...now after walking many miles pissed off N' drunk a couple picked us up and said they called the cops cuz they seen the truck...Now here comes the cops, my boy is as drunk as hell and shouldn't of been driving, now he's kissing ass to this cop (this is a small town and I grew up with the cop) now the tow truck gets there and pulls him out...I'm sitting there like yup this dude is going to jail, naming off all the charges in my head...then he tells him if we can get a sober driver out there he'd let us go....this pissed me off to the max...I then asked the cop if it was me driving would he of let me go? he then told me "No your ass would be going to jail!" Talk about being a fag......

On a side note my friend and his girlfriend were blacked out the next night, side swiped a parked truck, left the scene of the accident, and nearly took out another car...we was all in the front yard smoking some weed and watched all this...after he hit the truck we all bounced...now just think if the cop would of done things by the book this crazy ass mofo wouldn't of been on the streets endangering others...even though he is my friend, the only reason the cop let him go is cuz he thinks this dude is str8 laced when in reality he's done just as much dirt as me...

They're supposed to keep records and write reports so it can't be that hard to figure out who they were.
