This is going to be AWESOME. I read the books a loooooong time ago, so I've forgotten a lot of it. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the film. The cast looks brilliant, some inspired choices (Freeman as Dent, Fry as the Guide, Rickman as Marvin). Speaking of Marvin, he looks NOTHING like I imagined, but the costume is incredibly cool. That fat ginger guy gave it 75%, saying it was mostly faithful but certain actors (Mos Def, Sam Rockwell, Zooey Delaney...the non-Brits, basically) didn't really capture the characters.

Regardless, it'll be great to see the book come to life on the big screen. Anyone else looking forward to this?

ive heard of the book and i guess there are a few other hitchhiker guide books, but honestly i have no idea what the plot entails

Is that the book where the number 42 is basically the answer to everything, or whatever? If yes, my teacher says the books are hilarious, I doubt it though.
