I think it means that we our eyes are pretty much all the same in how they work; they take in light that is not absorbed from the object it is reflected off of. The only way they could see another colour is if they're brain was totally fucked or they could see another light we cannot see (such as ultraviolet or xray etc)

the tongue is the same but we taste thing differently, Even if the brain is the same, no one knows how others perceive the color blue.

It may not be proven that it's the exact same colour. There are variations, of course. But when you consider that we are of the same design, the variations in colour perception are most likely not considerable enough to make your blue my red.

A person's eyes must really be awkwardly configured to percieve that part of the spectrum as red when its supposed to be blue by design.

I think its safe to assume that my red is your red and my blue is your blue. My lightbrown may be your sandy red however.

Not to mention that red and blue are extreme (and maybe unfit) examples since they are on opposites of our visible spectrum.

It's kind of saying that there maybe is an Atlantis still. Maybe. But probably not.

Exactly. I wouldnt doubt if other people see things a little lighter or darker, but definitely not a whole new color.
