I got $1300 back on my tax this year and I don't know what to do with it. Any suggestions?

Last year I bought gear and turned it into like 5 grand but blew it all lol.. so I don't wanna do that again.

I plan to service my ute, but that will only cost about 70 bucks. New flat screen T.V perhaps.. I dunno

What would you buy?

i would use it for 3 options

option 1: A lot of drinking, strippers and maybe a few prostitutes.

option 2: put it towards a holiday, maybe Thailand or something?

option 3: a new computer.

I'd save or invest.

If you want to spend on a flat screen then a Panasonic plasma or Sharp Full Led TV.
If you won't be gaming on it then Samsungs and Sony TVs are even better.
Samsungs are a bit better since Sony are using Samsung panels anyway.

b) buy yourself the TV you want (but so you really need it? do you live with your parents? do they already have a nice TV?).
c) travel a bit, go pay a visit to some other countries (my personal fav, traveling is so much fun. perhaps the only cons to this is finding someone to travel with if your friends don't have the $).
d) spend it on booze, women, and drugs (you know deep down if you don't follow options b) or c) you'll end up doing that. perhaps you could calculate a certain budget for partying and keep the rest for other purchases/options).
e) other (what else do you really need?)

As for TV, don't get a 3D. They aren't that great yet and they cost a fortune for what they are. Get HD, it's the best out there.

Are you being sarcastic? I only said that cause I think the 3D TVs are overpriced and pretty much unnecessary right now. There's only a few movies available in 3D and most channels are not available in 3D yet.

I got back 13,200.00 this year cuz I had bought a condo and I got a 8k tax credit and ish.
I saved about 11k and spent 2 on buying some stuff for me.
Saving it and seeing a nice chunk change in your bank account feels real good. That's just me though.

I'm thinking about getting Lucky in old english on the side of my neck, what you reckon? lol nah actually I am getting my half sleeve touched up and maybe finally get my ribs done.. So their goes a couple of hundred.

Yeah I'm still at home with the old girl, but I'm applying for places to rent at the moment and I don't even have a T.V.

I need a nail gun too come to think of it lol
