Summer Holidays/vacations ?

Been wondering about this for a while. In the UK a lot of younger people go away with their friends to Spain, Greece etc i was wondering if this is the same in rest of Europe and in the States. I know in the US that spring break pretty much equates to this.

Around here people try to make it to the shore as much as possible in the summer! But trip-wise, alot of kids go to Cancun in Mexico.

well i know a lot of people who travel in summer, but most of them travel to hot places in winter. i never really got the point of going from summer time at your place to summer time at another place. of course its cheaper and everything. spring break and xmas break are popular breaks for traveling.

Spring break people go everywhere. During the holiday season especially christmas for some reason people around here go to Mexico.

I usually go to Southern Spain,Majorca,or the Algarve on vacation.This summer was the first time in about 10 years that i didnt go away somewhere.
