Hip-hop rap mogul, and CEO of Death Row Records, Marion "Suge" Knight was arrested Saturday evening for a possible parole violation, according to sheriff's officials in California.



Police say they found marijuana in a vehicle being operated by Suge Knight during a traffic stop. Suge was driving a Ford pick-up when stopped for a traffic violation. He was ticketed for not having insurance, according to officials.



Suge Knight is being held by local authorities pending a transfer to state facilities next week, according to sheriff officials.



State officials will have to review the case to see what action will be taken against the rap mogul Suge Knight.



Calls to Mr. Knight’s publicist and Death Row Records have not been returned as of press time. More information as it is received.
