Dude, if it ended without the happy scene, I would have been depressed for the rest of the night. But you're right, it would have been better. But that'd be a first in Hollywood.

Yeah that was well depressing, I wasn't expecting that when I watched this movie a few months back.

Hollywood would never end up a big movie on a sad note.

Why was Titanic so successful? because they killed the main character off.

People are tired of happy endings. These days when you watch a movie you know no matter what happens there will be a happy ending.

If the main character had AIDS, cancer, leukemia and ever other disease you could think off some bird would magically fly by and shit on his face and cure him. Thats Hollywood for ya. Full of bird shit.
