A substitute physical education teacher is accused of using inappropriate language with female students at Southside Middle School.
Students told school officials that the teacher "talked dirty" to them during their eighth-grade gym class.
"Out of nowhere he just asked us if we were virgins, if we had sex and who was our boyfriends," said student Amber Rosales. "And then out of nowhere he asked us who was the biggest 'ho' in our P.E. class."
After students told school officials about the alleged incident, the substitute teacher was removed from the classroom.
The district would not release the teacher's name.
"The decision was also made that this individual's name would be removed from the substitute's list pending the complete investigation of the incident," said Nancy Dunn Thompson, a spokeswoman for the Southside Independent School District.
School officials also contacted the parents of students who complained about the teacher.
Rosales' mother said she's grateful she was informed of the incident, but is afraid it could happen again.
"He could go to another school and do the same thing or do something worse to one of the girls or a guy," said Jo Ann Rosales.
The school district said no red flags surfaced in a background check of the substitute teacher, who is no longer allowed on school property.
"There are always problems that can arise," said Dunn Thompson. "The important thing is how we react."
Dunn Thompson said the teacher could face criminal trespassing charges if he appears on school property.
