So I have a ranking system on my computer that I just now noticed.

Myspace is ranked #6, facebook is 10, youtube is 4, google is 3

It's based on user traffic...I'm trying to find #1...
What do you think it is?

It just tells me as I visit different sites how they are ranked.

It's based on the Alexa tool bar, which logs what sites people that have it installed visit. So those hits are only by people using the Alexa tool bar. Its a bit biased, and not accurate. Advertisers used to use it but they prefer to see Google Analytics statistics now because Alexa isnt accurate enough and can be easily manipulated.

Do any of you know how to maintain a computer? Why do you have that shit installed? Its like letting kids from across the street kick your car and then thanking them for it. Sort it out.

Then it's a spyware. I remove every toolbar, adware, spyware etc. from my pc, you should too. It slows down your pc, removes your privacy and pisses you off.

Also, spyware has evolved. Most of you don't realise but you have to disconnect from the Internet when performing Spyware/Virus Scans. Why? When either is installed on your PC, it installed the other. Why? Well if you run a Virus scan, the spyware notices and redownloads the Virus. You do a Spyware scan, the virus notices and redownloads the spyware. Malacious software has evolved. You really have to be careful of what you download. And any one that has downloaded as Smilie pack for a messenger, you need to be shot on the grounds of stupidity.

^that's true. but i didnt know about the disconnecting from internet to remove them completely.

Yeah I usually run all virus, spyware and adware scanners before my system fully loads (with only explorer.exe activated)
