right now i have 2 computers with xp pro. one already has the SP2. but the other one has a not so legit windows installed. i ordered a cd for SP2 from windows, can i still install it on the not so legit windows on the desktop? or will it stop me like it does on automatic update?

You probably won't be able to install SP2 on the bootleg copy on Win XP. My copy of XP is bootleg and i haven't been able to install it either.

^ theres a program floating around on the internet that allows you to change your bootleg cd-key into a valid cd-key. then you can install sp2.
