how can people be treated the same as beasts
and how can people survive, on which no food to feast
how can people be blamed for trying to live
being shot and killed in the streets at 16, no chance to live
why are there troops half a world from home
when they are needed more here in the superdome
why are there babies with no water for days
and others are dying stuck suffering for days
dying, after doing just what they were told
forgotten stuck in the dark knowing they wont grow old
hundreds of thousands homeless most only have faith
that things will be right again, they just stay with faith
