So i was going to pick up some pizza for the family with my brother today and the radio was on and some song was on that scared the fuck out of me.
It was a metal song and i'm thinking 'this is good', and then the guy starts singing and he sounds exactly like kurt cobain. I listen to the lyrics and it was totally unfamiliar. Now i've heard just about every nirvana song and this isn't anything i've heard befor. I listen to the music and it just didn't sound (no did the lyrics really shine) like a kurt cobain/nirvana song. By this point i'm freaking out (yes music does this to me). I listen to the voice again, i'm like confident it's cobain, a bit thicker but it's just so similar.
In the end (after my brother saw me suffer enough) i find out it was seether. I had to purchase their album straight away which i did. Now i've heard broken with amy lee and i always liked the song (though it was a little overplayed). But in Remedy he sounds exactly like kurt. Did anyone else pick up on this?
