I haven't been to either, but Aberdeen is really white and small. But, you'd like the little "grunge" history behind it, I reckon. As for Olympia, I'm not sure what it's like.

Yeah, the grunge aspect is basically the only reason I'm going to be going to Aberdeen, it's popular for Nirvana fans like myself, I found a site that lists some interestings places to check out and public tributes to Kurt etc.
I get the impression there isn't really anything to do in Aberdeen. I imagine it as being something like some of the backwater areas of Oregon I've been to before.
I think there will be stuff to do/see in Olympia...don't know if I will go there...although I seem to recall that you have to go through it to get to Aberdeen. I could be wrong on that one though, will have to check out the map again.
Any cool things you can suggest in Seattle? I know of the rock museum with the Hendrix tributes etc. But if you know of anything cool I might to like to see or anything cool to do, then let me know! Or any good restaurants too, for that matter. Any advice would be appreciated!
