so winter comes...and now i dont have brakes

title says it all.... jumped into my car after work and realized my brakes barely work.
i have to press the brake alll the way before they start to work (barely) , no resistance or anything.
perfect for a canadian winter
anyways, what could be the reason? i dont feel like getting into an accident

did you check your brake fluid?

you might have air in the brake lines. normally that happens when someone bleeds the brakes but doesnt put the fluid back in correctly. so you wouldve noticed it at first. but you never know, there could be a leak or something.
